Our cakes are made using sweet butter, whole eggs and pure cane
sugar to name a few. They are dense, moist and baked with care.
We have it down to a nice little science. We always recommend serving
our cakes at room temperature with a few exceptions like cheesecakes
and whipped cream cakes.
We're often asked if our cakes will "be good the next day."
We actually think many of our cakes improve with a day or two behind
them. That's the beauty of butter when it meets sugar and buttermilk.

We offer wonderful fillings
of Raspberry, Lemon and Mocha. Our icings are great as
fillings,
too. Fresh bananas are available year 'round with whipped
cream cakes. Fresh strawberries are offered between Memorial
Day and Labor Day. Staff members are happy to recommend
great flavor combinations if you need suggestions.
But what about the ICING?
It is our name, after all. We offer our heavy-duty Chocolate
Buttercream
(often referred to as fudge) and classic Cream Cheese
icing for you purists. These are desserts in themselves!
Mocha, Traditional White Buttercream, Lemon Buttercream,
Almond Buttercream and pure whipped cream are also popular.
Pound Cakes have their own glazes, gilding each one perfectly.
