What are your business hours?
Our business hours are Tuesday – Saturday 9am – 6pm, and Sunday 9am – 4pm (we're closed on Mondays but someone is available to take phone orders).
Can I pick-up my order before or after bakery business hours?
Sorry, all orders need to be picked up during our business hours when we are fully staffed.
Where is the best place to park?
We have 6 reserved parking spaces (plus 1 handicap space) conveniently located directly behind the bakery (take Lundy Lane) for use by our customers while conducting business at the bakery.
How do I place an order?
It's easy - call us or visit the bakery during our business hours to place your order. Certain orders may require prepayment, which can be easily placed over the phone. Orders cannot be placed via e-mail or voicemail message.
How far in advance should I place an order?
Other than wedding cakes (see Weddings FAQ below), generally 48 hours is fine. We recommend a minimum of a week or more in advance during our peak summer and wedding months (May/June/July) and major holidays.
Once my order has been placed, may I cancel or change it?
Cancellations or changes to existing orders must be made in person or over the phone at least 2 full business days prior to the pick-up date.
Do I need to pre-pay when I place an order?
All orders over $50.00, Sunday orders, custom orders, whipped cream cakes and products not made on a regular basis require prepayment.
Do you deliver?
We deliver tiered wedding cakes, cupcakes with a minimum and event orders, subject to certain geographical limitations and delivery charges. Please call us or stop by for more details.
Do you offer seating?
No, not at this time. There is, however, a public bench located directly outside the bakery and a nearby park . . . the perfect place to enjoy some of our baked goods.
Do you accept personal checks and credit cards?
We do not accept personal checks or traveler's checks, but we do accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards.
Do you ship your desserts?
Sorry, we don't. Our desserts are baked fresh and are never frozen, so no shipping at this time.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes – the minimum is $10.00 and can be purchased at the bakery. Gift certificates are redeemable for baked goods only.
Do you give tours of the bakery?
Due to insurance and Health Department limitations, we are not able to offer bakery tours.
Can I book a party at the bakery?
Due to space limitations and hours of production, we are not able to accommodate private parties at the bakery.
Do you teach cake decorating or baking classes?
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer decorating or baking classes.

Can you provide desserts for a corporate or other special events?
Yes, please call us and let us know what you are planning – we can give you plenty of dessert suggestions and answer any questions.
Do you provide corporate gifting?
We would love to provide assistance with gift ideas and custom orders. Call us or stop by and let's get to work!
Are you hiring?
Whether or not we are currently hiring, we're always on the lookout for awesome, hardworking bakers, cake decorators and counter staff. So even if we are completely staffed, feel free to call to inquire.
Do you offer internships?
We do not currently offer internships.
How old do I have to be to work at the bakery?
Minimum age is 18 years old.
Do you offer summer jobs?
No, we do not offer summer or seasonal employment.

Do you have a price list?
No - since there can be many variables with an order, we do not have a standard price list. Please call us and we will be happy to discuss your order and give you a price over the telephone.
Can I have anything I want drawn on my cake?
Generally yes, other than copyrighted characters or images (such as Mickey Mouse, Sponge Bob, etc.) or artwork that we find objectionable. We do not offer edible photo images.
Do you make shaped cakes?
We offer sheet cakes, round cakes and heart-shaped cakes only.
Do you offer "gluten-free" products?
Although we do offer a variety of "wheat-free" and "flourless" products, we do not label these items as "gluten-free" since these products are made in the same kitchen as our regular baked goods. We therefore do not recommend our baked goods for those with sensitivities to wheat products.
What is the difference between your "wheat-free," "flourless" and "vegan" products?
Those products labeled as "wheat-free" include some type of alternative, non-wheat flour (such as rice flour), while our "flourless" products are made without any type of flour whatsoever. Our version of "vegan" products don't include any animal-derived ingredients (such as butter, milk or eggs), but can contain pure cane granulated, brown or powdered sugars. Feel free to ask us about the ingredients of any of our products.
What other "alternative" products do you offer?
Besides our WHEAT-FREE, FLOURLESS and VEGAN products, we do offer a number of baked goods that are DAIRY-FREE and EGG-FREE. Please ask us for more details.
Do you offer "nut-free" products?
Although many of our products do not include nuts as an ingredient, all of our baked goods (including those containing nuts) are made in the same kitchen, so even those products that do not include nuts as an ingredient may include trace amounts of nut oils. We therefore recommend that those with nut allergies refrain from eating our products.
Can you make something based on a family recipe that I provide?
Sorry, we only offer desserts based on our tried & true recipes.
Will you alter your recipes if I want something added or omitted?
No – we do not alter our recipes based on customer requests.
Do you offer desserts on a wholesale basis?
No, our focus is entirely on our retail operations at this time.

How far in advance should I order my wedding cake?
Wedding cakes should be ordered as soon as possible/months ahead, especially if delivery is needed. Please call us when your wedding date and reception site has been set. A 50% deposit is required to book your date on our wedding calendar.
Do you offer wedding cake tastings?
Yes, but prior to booking a cake tasting, please call the bakery so we can check our calendar for availability. Sample orders need to be placed over the phone or in person and at least 48 hours in advance. Call the bakery for full details.
Is there a fee for wedding cake tastings or consultations?
There is a minimal charge for wedding cake samples but the amount paid will be credited toward your deposit should you book with us. Please call the bakery for details.
Do you offer desserts other than traditional tiered wedding cakes for receptions?
Yes we do. Many couples are now opting for a dessert table instead of a traditional tiered cake. We have lots of options - from cupcakes to handmade pies to brownies & bars. Please call the bakery for more information and pricing.
